Graduate Structural Engineer x2

As a graduate engineer , you will be technically talented, enthusiastic and innovative.  You will be adaptable in approach and willing to work, providing technical assistance, to the engineers both on the design desk and also on site.

You must be educated to degree level or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering and working towards Chartership.  You will need to have a knowledge of current codes and standards.  In addition, knowledge of AutoCAD and Structural Engineering Software would be advantageous.

 

Senior Engineer

With 3-5 years relevant experience, you will have a proven track record and be able to demonstrate your technical ability and solutions-based approach to work.  You will be adaptable and willing to work in a hands-on environment.

You must be educated to degree level or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering and preferably have achieved your Chartership.  You will need to have a demonstrable working knowledge of current codes and standards, and of AutoCAD and Structural Engineering Software.  An ability to analyze information and come up with solutions would be a plus.

 

Quantity Surveyor (part-time)

As an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor you will take responsibility for estimates and contracts for a range of civil / structural engineering projects.  This would include being involved in the preparation of tenders, submitting interim valuations, managing contract variations and workflows, as well as reporting on the commercial and financial aspects of projects.

You must be educated to degree level or equivalent, with 3-5 years industry experience.  You will need to have a working knowledge of current codes and standards, engineering contracts and relevant legislation.

 

Design (AutoCAD) Technician

As part of the technical department, you will take responsibility for reviewing documentation, analyzing solutions and providing drawings.  You will liaise between the design team and site in finding resolutions to problems that arise. You will be able to demonstrate technical excellence and have 3-5 years industry experience.  


General:

The successful candidates will be a technically talented, enthusiastic and innovative, who is adaptable in approach, passionate about engineering and willing to work in a hands-on environment. 

You must :

  • be computer literate, 
  • have excellent verbal and written communication skills,
  • be able to write reports which are succinct, efficient and accurate,
  • be able to prioritise and manage time, 
  • be results-oriented,
  • be able to work under pressure, 
  • have good interpersonal skills. 

A full clean driver’s licence would be advantageous.

 

Induction, training and on-going professional development will be provided. Site safety training (SafePass and Manual Handling) – where not already in place, will be provided. 

In addition, for the Graduate Engineer roles, we would be glad to offer support and mentoring in the pursuit of Chartership.
