Background:

This project involved the development of 21 no plots with this being the first phase of this development in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.  The main residential building is 29 storeys with 573 units made up of multiple modular units prefabricated off site in a casting and preparation yard.  A carparking podium is also cast insitu with transfers for the modular units. The adjoining parking podium which is 9 storeys with 1015 parking spaces for cars and motor bikes and a level 10 recreational level attached to the residential area.


Approach:

ClearTech’s scope on the project was the engineering & technical assistance for both the podium and the tower and also development of the precasting yard and solution for the modular systems for the project. 
Working with our client in Asia to develop up their factory for the production of 10,000 modular units per year. Looking at Steel and Cast insitu solutions and optimising the fabrication processes for the client. 


Outcome:

Working closely with the client team and the Architect, ClearTech incorporated BIM and Costings of all facets of the project.
